I had a similar experience with a caller who had a Liverpool accent claiming to be from AMS Insurance about a recent car crash. But once I asked for more info, he started getting rude and aggressive.

Got a call from someone sayin they were from “AMS Insurance” about a crash on the road. I told them it never took place. The caller had a Liverpool accent and just cut me off after that.
