The person on the other end actually said my name, which made me think they were pulling info from some kind of database. But then, curiously, there was just a long stretch of quiet. After a moment, I warned that I'd contact the authorities if they didn’t start talking, and just like that, the line went dead!

Dont give them any of your details. They’re some dodgy outfit named Zinc trying to scam you over debts. I was worried it was a con so I rang Experian, and they said there’s no record of any debt in my name. Definitely report those lot for pestering you.

What a load of rubbish! They had the audacity to request my bank information for some ridiculous vibrator promotion. I made it clear that I'd never placed such an order, and the bloke on the line insisted it was a special offer just for me. I even told him I'm a bloke, yet he wouldn't let it go and kept bugging me about confirming an order. Absolute muppet!

I received a call on my mobile where the caller was quite evasive about their intentions, even after I confirmed that I was the person they were attempting to reach. I suggested that if they already had my details, they could just drop me a letter instead. When they asked for my email address, I politely declined that as well. It felt rather odd, to say the least!

I've just ended a call with these persistent individuals who keep ringing me. They wanted my personal information and got rather irate when I declined, claiming it was about a 'sensitive issue' with British Gas - a company I've never interacted with. I told them to take my number off their list and to communicate in writing going forward. Honestly, I have a hunch this is yet another dodgy scam attempt. This firm called me on my mobile and asked if I was Mr xxxxx, who apparently used to live in my house. I questioned how they’d linked my number to his name. I told them it must’ve come from somewhere else, but then he asked for my personal info. I said no and flipped it back, asking for his details instead. He only said Zinc Group and wouldn’t explain what the company actually does, just that they’re a contact centre. When I asked how they got my mobile number, which I’ve had for 18 years, he refused to say. Then they got a bit hostile and ended the call.

So this daft lot called Zinc kept asking me to prove who I was! I told them nicely to bugger off, said they shouldn't be asking for my name since it was them ringing me, not the other way around. I don’t owe anyone, especially some random nobody from that firm, my details. They keep pestering me with calls, and I’ve made it clear in no uncertain terms where they can shove it!
