Between the 12th and 15th of July 2024, I got a couple of texts from 01 413 438 478 asking me to call them back straight away... I just ignored them though.

So, I got a message from Scottish Power about my old place saying my account was shut and I didn’t owe a penny. But out of nowhere, Connexus started blowing up my phone with calls and texts, claiming I owe Scottish Power £2000! Honestly, feels like a total rip-off!

Scottish Power’s prices are ridiculous, especially for folks who aren’t working. Even if you’re paying £100 a month, they still want more and seem to send dodgy people to scam us further. The company’s awful and apparently run out of Spain. A mate from Citizen Advice told me they just keep saying “mañana, mañana” - which basically means “tomorrow, tomorrow” whenever you try to complain. Their global call centres are pretty useless at sorting out issues. Honestly, steer well clear of them.

Couple months back, something pretty wild happened around 6 in the evening. Got a knock on the door and it was the police. They said they got a unanimous tip-off sayin’ my electric meter was tampered with or something. Honestly, never thunk they’d stoop so low like that. Feels like the cops are just like the Gestapo now, workin’ for Scottish Power, and politicians just don’t care. Proper dodgy situation.

Honestly, such pushy people, and then they have the nerve to drop a letter in my letterbox about how they can ‘assist’. It’s pretty worrying that a company sends aggressive lads round, especially to people who might be vulnerable.

Conexus hires ex-offenders as bailiffs who broke into my house with a warrant meant for the old tenant, not me. They ended up hurting me and my dogs, which is just shocking. I’m now consulting a lawyer to figure out what actions I can take since they trespassed and attacked me. When I called to ask for the warrant, they refused to provide it because my name wasn't on the documents, yet they felt entitled to break in illegally. Absolutely disgraceful conduct.

Conexus has been shocking to deal with. They hired folks with criminal records as bailiffs who forced their way into my house and ended up hurting me and my dogs over a warrant meant for the old tenant, not me. Absolutely ridiculous! Right now, I’ve got a lawyer looking into what actions can be taken because they trespassed and assaulted me. When I rang up asking for a copy of the warrant, they flat out refused, saying since I’m not the tenant listed, they couldn’t provide it - yet they had no problem barging in illegally! Really disgusted by how they operate.

Got a text from someone called Conexus, said it was urgent and they wanted to get in touch. I’ve no clue who they are, so I just deleted the message. If it’s so important, why don’t they just ring me? The number they used starts with 0141, which is Glasgow, but when I looked up Conexus, their offices are only in Bolton and Londonderry - nowhere near Glasgow. Definitely feels like a scam to me!
