Got a call from some estate agency I didn't quite catch the name of, asking about someone who doesn’t even live at my address, about a valuation of the property. Seems dodgy to me, probably another scam since most calls nowadays turn out to be shady.

Based in Glasgow, these folks are estate agents who deal with cash auctions for properties. I only realised how they got my information after I asked them by email to delete it. Turns out, I gave them my details when I thought I was just filling out a quick online valuation form for my home. Looking back, it’s clear why they can’t just have a computer give you an instant price like that!

I got a call from this place called FastBuy Properties claiming I wanted a free house valuation or something since I was selling. Thing is, I’m not selling my house and never asked for that. Didn’t bother calling them back.
