Got a call from some guy claiming to be from my bank’s security team, told me they spotted dodgy transactions on my account - like £300 from Amazon and another £1000 charged by something called Trans Atlantic Transactions. The phone number had a Glasgow area code, but when I looked it up, it turned out to be linked to a lift firm down near Sheffield. Completely dodgy.
