It was a scam call about a supposed car crash. I never had an accident. When I asked how they got my number, they didn’t have an answer. So I just blocked them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Motor Insurance Bureau, but the MIB is actually based in Milton Keynes, not anywhere in Scotland. I just ended the call and tried ringing them back, but the number never answered. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

I got a call on my mobile from this number but it stopped ringing before I could pick up. Tried calling back on my landline and the number just wouldn’t connect. Seems dodgy, maybe some kind of scam? Same situation here.

Somebody rang up saying I was owed around £1500 to £2000 because of a car accident I supposedly had. When I told them I’d never been in a crash, they quickly switched the story to say it was actually a work accident. I told them to stop calling and hung up.

About half an hour ago, I got a call insisting I was entitled to compensation from a car crash - which is bonkers since I've never had one. Anyway, I was just sitting around waiting for my partner to finish at the doctor's, so figured I’d mess with them for a bit and kill some time. Told them all sorts of rubbish about a dreadful accident I’d supposedly been through, how I’d lost my job, and joked that my only chance now was to become some sad git ringing people up with dodgy scams.
