Just recently, our neighbour popped over to let us know he received a rather peculiar call this afternoon. Apparently, someone asked him to provide a number and inquire about a certain Chris Roberts. Well, we decided to give this person a bell to get to the bottom of things, but they were utterly unhelpful, refusing to divulge who these individuals were. We made it clear that if they keep contacting our neighbour looking for folks we've never heard of, we won’t hesitate to notify the authorities and file a complaint. Quite the situation, I must say!

We received a rather peculiar postcard intended for the Occupier, urging us to contact someone named Stephanie at 0141 300 5305. It turns out this number belongs to a company called Westcot. Rest assured, we won’t be returning that call! The postcard ended up straight in the rubbish!

My experience seems to echo that of many others. I had a conversation with a chap named Chris Roberts, who was rather evasive and less than helpful. He was reluctant to divulge specific details, merely suggesting it pertained to a past mortgage matter. What’s more concerning is that these individuals bothered my mother’s elderly neighbour, causing a great deal of distress. Their tactics feel quite shady, to say the least.

Received a call from 01413005305, and I was asked to relay a message to a mate of mine, suggesting he get in touch with Jim Stewart over at the Glasgow office. I suspect it’s related to a debt collection agency. They didn’t divulge much detail but mentioned they’d sent something to our friend and that it’d be wise for him to reach out to them!

Earlier today, I received a postcard dated 9/01/10, simply addressed to 'the occupier' and linked to Hull. It requested that I call Ally at 01482380689, citing reference number 4113. Quite perplexingly, this was linked to Westcot, and since then, I've been inundated with calls from what seem to be dodgy numbers-scams dating back to 2010! It truly feels like folks are scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas these days!

Absolutely the same situation here. A nondescript postcard with a stamp, only addressed to the "Occupier" showed up at my place today, 11th December 2009, stating, "Hello, could you please give Donald a bell at 0141 300 5305?" I tried to give him a ring, but there was no response. Off it goes into the rubbish! :)

Absolutely, we’ve experienced something similar! Just received a card bearing a HULL postcode, urging us to contact someone named Donald at a specific number. Out of curiosity, we reached out to directory enquiries to clarify if this was indeed a business number, and it turned out it is. We suspect it’s a dodgy scheme designed to lure folks into a conversation for some sort of sales pitch. Apparently, this 'Donald' has also reached out to one of our neighbours. Quite frankly, it’s all rather disconcerting, and I reckon it would be wise to report these characters.

So, these chaps gave our mum's neighbour a ring asking for us to get back to them at our earliest convenience. When our mum actually returned the call, it turned out they were trying to reach our ex's brother. Strangely enough, they seemed to know all the names of her relatives but wouldn't divulge who they were or the reason for the call. Quite the puzzler, really!

Today, we received a rather peculiar postcard bearing a Hull postmark, addressed simply to the Occupier. It urged us to give Donald a call at 01413005305. I’ve decided to hold onto the postcard, just in case we receive further unsolicited correspondence from these folks.

It looks like this might actually be a cunning scam attempting to fish for personal information, rather than a genuine marketing ploy.

We received a postcard from Hull intended for the Occupier, instructing us to call Stephanie at 0141 300 5305. After plugging that number into a search engine, we stumbled across your website. Cheers to you, as that card has now made its way to the bin!

We've also received Donald's postcard featuring Wescot. It appears to be from a rented property, and since I don't have any credit linked to my name, I plan to disregard it. Quite the underhanded tactic, if you ask me, especially with that messy handwriting. This definitely warrants a report!

Our neighbour received a call from this number mentioned above, inquiring about us next door. However, they weren't specifically looking for us as individuals. Strangely, these callers left a number and asked us to get in touch with someone named Chris. We were completely clueless about both the number and the name. It definitely seems like a scam to me...

I had a call at the office from Mrs. Rogers, who mentioned she was associated with Barclays. She was inquiring about our current postcode.

We made an attempt to call that number, but alas, no one answered the call.

We've also received a postcard featuring this number, requesting to speak to Lauren. It seems rather dodgy to me! Can anyone shed light on how much a call to certain regions might set one back? Not everyone can afford mobile charges these days, you know! Just my thoughts.

We just received a message from a certain Carol Rogers-no idea who that is. It’s quite concerning because, as mentioned before, these sorts of people tend to ring back. But let’s be honest, who really wants to engage with credit companies, right? It's a bit of a nuisance!

Like many others, I received a call from a private number on my mobile but chose not to answer it. They left a voicemail asking for us to contact Julie at 0141 300 5305. Unfortunately, there was no extra information provided. I’m curious to know who these individuals are, what company they represent, or the purpose of the call. We've opted not to return the call at this stage; if it’s important, I'm sure they'll reach out again.

This particular firm is among the four notorious companies implicated in the tragic case of Beryl Brazier's suicide (you can look her up). I strongly advise against giving this organisation a single penny; doing so could enable them to cause further distress and devastation. But don’t simply accept my viewpoint-take a moment to visit the debt collection discussions on the Consumer Action Group forum to uncover the truth about Wescot and their dismal practices for yourself.

Could we kindly ask you to give that number a bell?
