Got a call from something called ‘Client After Care Helpline’ asking about a crash I supposedly had recently - which I definitely didn’t. Like others have said, this feels like one of those dodgy cold call groups that switch their pitch all the time - one day they’re Microsoft support, the next they’re insurance claim agents?! Seems like all they want is to grab your personal info. I’ve had three calls from them in the past month, so next time I’m planning to waste their time and drag it out a bit, maybe stop them pestering someone else for a bit!

Picked up and they immediately asked for my maiden name, which made me realise I didn’t want to continue the call since everyone who’d actually contact me knows me by my married name. During one of these calls, I told an individual with a heavy accent to go away in rather strong terms, and he clearly did not appreciate it.
