Got a call from something called ‘Client After Care Helpline’ asking about a crash I supposedly had recently - which I definitely didn’t. Like others have said, this feels like one of those dodgy cold call groups that switch their pitch all the time - one day they’re Microsoft support, the next they’re insurance claim agents?! Seems like all they want is to grab your personal info. I’ve had three calls from them in the past month, so next time I’m planning to waste their time and drag it out a bit, maybe stop them pestering someone else for a bit!

Picked up and they immediately asked for my maiden name, which made me realise I didn’t want to continue the call since everyone who’d actually contact me knows me by my married name. I told them they’d got the wrong number and asked them to delete me from their list, and he said they’d sort it out.

Got a call from this number, they asked for me by name. I answered but didn't give any info like I usually don't. I don’t understand how these annoying callers keep getting hold of my number nonstop. I was under the impression the government was taking strict action against such harassment by now. The only thing I can think of is that some legit companies we deal with must be sharing or selling their contact lists to these pest callers. Honestly, it should be made illegal for any business, organisation, or whoever to share or trade our personal details like that. On top of that, local councils shouldn’t be allowed to distribute electoral rolls or address info either. That would put a stop to the endless barrage of calls we’re subjected to from every direction. We seriously need better protections from this relentless nuisance. If the Government actually wanted to, they could put an end to it all, but sadly it seems they prefer to just talk and do nothing.

I've explained loads of times that I’m not him and it’s not his number either, but they just won't stop ringing. I’ve told them to remove me from their list more than once.
