I've noticed this number shares the same area code as others who've rung me before. I'm pretty sure it's one of those dodgy little call centres, probably scammers having another go. It only takes a couple of folks falling for their tricks for them to make some cash. Definitely blocked from my end!

Somebody who couldn’t even spell properly called me claiming they needed my bank info to sort out compensation for a car crash. Thing is, I don’t even have a car or drive! So weird, right? Got a call about a supposed accident from May 2021, which makes no sense since I didn’t drive at all between July 2020 and August 2021. When I asked for proof, they claimed I could get compensation for a personal injury and even suggested I must have had a head injury causing me to forget the accident! This is already the third time this week they’ve called me from the same area code. Every time I block one number, they ring back from another but with that same code. BTW, I’m signed up with the TPS, so these calls are definitely against the rules!

i tried to get my details taken off their database but they got really nasty about it. they kept asking if i was a mechanic and what i'd do if the car had problems. i said yes, i am, and i'd sort it out myself. after that, they started acting all high and mighty, asking what kind of mechanic i was and accusing me of not telling the truth.
