Just received a rather dubious call from a chap claiming to represent some energy firm, touting cut-price energy bills. To be honest, it felt quite fishy and not convincing in the slightest.

Got a call from some guy, said his name was Jim, sounded Asian. He claimed there was something wrong with our BT line and said he could sort it out by accessing my computer (can you believe it?). I played along, wasting about four minutes of his time. Eventually, I told him we don’t even have BT broadband. Didn’t faze him though, he insisted he could still fix it. In the end, I told him to quit messing about and find a proper job - then he just hung up.

Maxwell TV is offering live shows for just £10 a month and they say you don’t need a TV licence. Sounds a bit sketchy to me, not sure how that works exactly. Feels a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some energy company, and honestly, the person on the other end was quite rude. Definitely not a pleasant experience.
