Afterwards, I reached out to Talktalk directly, only to discover that this number isn’t associated with them at all, confirming it as a fraudulent call. The caller proceeded to probe me about my internet connection-inquiring about the speed and price. They insisted that what I was describing matched one of their offerings and bizarrely declared that since they were attempting to transition customers to Talktalk, ‘their job was already accomplished.’
