I've found myself in a similar situation - when I tried to inquire about the caller's purpose, they were utterly unhelpful. They claimed that only the Director would be privy to the details and his identity. It's a bit of a nightmare dealing with these scam callers; they might as well be talking to a brick wall when they reach me! There was no way I was going to connect him without getting some solid details first.

I’ve received multiple calls from a chap named Jordan McCartney on this number, each time requesting one of our directors specifically. However, when asked for more details like his company affiliation, he flatly declined to provide any, insisting that our director should be aware of him and the matter at hand. Unfortunately, the director in question has no clue who he is or what the context might be. This leads me to believe it’s likely an unwanted sales call or some sort of spam. Quite bothersome and rather insistent, to say the least!
