I received a call yesterday, and when I tried to return it, all I got was an automated message stating that the number was no longer in service, suggesting I contact a 118 service instead. It's likely just some data collection firm or a dodgy outfit from the gas or electricity sector trying to gauge the best times to catch you. They could even be a thief! Honestly, these sorts of calls don't warrant much concern. Nowadays, information about homeowners and businesses is incredibly sought after, and there’s a whole industry profiting from it. If you ever do engage with someone, straight away ask for their address and refrain from divulging any information-better to keep them guessing!

I just received a call from this number. When I picked up, a lady said, "Whatever you do, don’t press anything," and then promptly disconnected the line. Quite strange, isn’t it?
