A guy with a Glaswegian accent said he was from Windows Salvage and claimed some sort of online grant had been submitted to get new windows or a discount by scrapping old ones. When I said no grant was applied for, he dodged the question about where the grant was from. He rang back later and said I'd chosen another firm. Then he got quite pushy, asking if I'd already paid a deposit, how much it was, and who the other company was. He wasn’t happy with my answers and said he'd keep phoning no matter what.

I’ve noticed others have posted similar experiences online. Supposedly, it’s linked to a company based in Glasgow, though I found info suggesting it's actually from Leeds. Interestingly, the individual behind this outfit has a bit of a dodgy track record with fifteen other businesses that have ended up in administration or been dissolved. I’m utterly baffled by the whole situation and would love to get to the bottom of it. Not to mention, I’d appreciate it if they could cease pestering me!
