Got a call from what I’m pretty sure was Scottish Power, so I just went ahead and blocked the number. I switched to a different provider recently, one that's quite well-known, and they’re supposedly helping me deal with the chaos left behind by Spark Energy. Reckon Spark Energy must have passed my number around somewhere. Anyway, I’ve blocked it now!

My phone showed a scam caller popping up on the screen. They only called a couple times and then hung up before I got to pick up.

Got a call out of the blue from Scottish Power trying to convince me to switch over. I had to tell them no thanks, I’m already with a supplier who’s not just cheaper but has much better customer service.

So this number popped up and said it was Scottish Power. I’ve been caught out by their cold calls in the past, and after I switched over, I ended up battling with months of issues they just couldn’t sort. No wonder Ofgem puts them at the bottom of the list for providers, given all the complaints they get - they really don’t know what they’re doing. When things were at their worst, I swear if my neighbour’s cat had offered to do my energy, I’d have gone with it. Bet the poor moggy would’ve been more reliable!

Right at 12 noon, I got a call from this number here in Aberdeen. I had no clue who was calling, but my phone warned me it might be a telemarketer trying to spam me. So I checked the number on 'Who Called Me' and it turns out, my phone's actually pretty spot on at picking out these annoying calls.

Got a couple of calls today from some energy companies trying to get me to switch deals. The first was from Scottish Power, asking if I wanted a better energy plan. Honestly, I just wasn’t interested. Then later, another energy switching service gave me a ring too. Such a hassle!

This number has been blowing up my phone, ringing around 10 times every day. The earliest call today was at 5.58am, thankfully I had my phone on silent so it didn’t wake me. I’m holding off on blocking it for now, hoping the calls will just stop eventually and I’m keeping track of how many times they ring me in case I need to do something about it later. They never leave any voicemail. Proper companies usually leave a message if it’s something important.
