I reckon they must’ve picked up my number from one of them forms you fill out, like a survey or price comparison or somethin’. The caller said their name but I couldn’t catch it properly, sounded like they had a thick accent. It was some energy comparison firm ringing me. They were saying they wanna sort me out with a smart meter but need to look up my info on a national database, only with my say-so though. I’m not sure if it’ll affect my credit score or not, haven’t looked into that yet. Also, if you say you don’t want to switch to Direct Debit, they just end the call straight away.
