I received a rather peculiar pre-recorded message that was supposedly from an energy advice centre in my area, but I'm a bit sceptical. This number isn’t even close to my local area code, so it raises some eyebrows, doesn’t it?

I didn’t pick up initially but rang the number back out of curiosity, only to get a recorded message about some energy advice centre. Since I’m nowhere near Glasgow - about 500 miles away - it just struck me as a bit dodgy, probably a scam.
