Absolute scammers! I nearly got caught but something felt off. They pretended to be from Barclays, mentioning suspicious activity on my account. (I did have a fraud issue a couple of weeks ago and had to replace my debit card). They claimed £2,000 was being sent to a company called Lts limited. I was almost convinced until they asked me for my pinsentry code. I told them I’d call back later. Once I hung up, they kept ringing me non-stop. I then contacted Barclays directly and they confirmed it was a scam. The weird thing is, they sent a text before calling, and it somehow appeared in the same thread as the real Barclays messages. They even knew my name, which was quite unsettling. Always trust your gut, and if you’re unsure, call the official number yourself to be safe.
