Some bloke from India rang me about life insurance or sommat. How he got hold of my details, I have no clue. Blame the internet, I guess. Proper annoying these scammers are.

I got a call from a company that supposedly deals with life insurance policies, and they actually seem pretty well regarded online. The guy on the phone was really polite, not forceful at all. We talked a bit about why having a policy could be helpful, but he didn’t push me to give out loads of personal details, just asked for my email so they could send me some more info. No money asked for or anything dodgy. Seems legit to me so far.

My phone showed the call as possible scam, so I didn’t pick up. They never left a voicemail either, so I just ignored it and didn’t bother calling back.

Had several calls from this number, but when I picked up, all I got was a pre-recorded message saying goodbye before the call abruptly ended. Quite peculiar!

Got really fed up and blocked them, but then they called back from a number that was almost the same. So frustrating!

I picked up the call and all I got was someone saying "Goodbye" and then they hung up straight away. Really frustrating and a bit cheeky if you ask me. Seems like one of those robot-run lines that just confirms you’re real so they can sell your number to scammers. Best just ignore and block it.
