Upon listening, I was greeted by a peculiar sound - heavy breathing that, to be honest, sounded more like someone was unwell rather than any sort of sleazy behaviour. Then, in a broad Scottish accent, I heard them say, "Aye, that’s right, you’ve got it." What a right muppet! Rest assured, I plan to report this individual to the authorities if they attempt to reach out again. Unfortunately, in a moment of clumsiness - my hands were shaking due to a medical condition - I accidentally deleted the message. It’s one thing to harass the public, but sending inappropriate and creepy messages, especially aimed at vulnerable individuals and where kids might overhear, is entirely unacceptable. These sorts of people really must be dealt with.

Honestly, I've found having an answerphone is a lifesaver. Loads of these callers just can’t stand them. They don’t say a word, just cut off straight away. The best bit is knowing they didn’t bother you and actually wasted money trying! Anyone legit, like mates or family, will always leave a voice message if they really need to get in touch.

The gas companies are being deceitful, and there's even an MP in Westminster who has raised this matter in Parliament since folks are being coerced into accepting these devices. Do some digging-check social media for countries that have outright refused them, as well as the potential health hazards and incidents of fires linked to them. They can rack up a bill of around £460 annually, and all your data gets funneled into a central database in Belgium! Essentially, you'll be footing the bill for your British gas, which the government has offloaded a sizable chunk of to the EU, and now they want to sell it back to us at extortionate prices. These meters are also susceptible to hacking, allowing thieves to pilfer your gas, profit from it, and leave you to bear the costs! Do your research and see what’s transpiring in the United States!
