Got a call supposedly from EE saying my number qualified for a free handset upgrade because I was using it a lot or something. Bit weird since I’m just on pay-as-you-go and use a basic phone on that line. Felt off like it wasn’t really EE so I just ended the call.

This number has rung me up four different times - on the 2nd of Jan, then the 23rd, again on 12th of Feb, and once more on 28th March. Every single time i pick up and say hello, all i can hear is some shuffling noises for like 5 to 10 secs before they just disconnect.
