Upon reading the other remarks, it appears these folks claimed to represent a health insurance firm. However, they had all my details wrong, so I decided to cut the conversation short and promptly added them to my block list.

Got a call from some life insurance advisory group, or at least that’s what the woman with the English accent said. She wanted to "update" my life insurance details, but I told her I’d rather contact the company I already have insurance with myself. She quickly said sorry and then ended the call. This number has called me a few times now!

This number belongs to someone with a disability, so please make sure to remove it and absolutely do not call again.

This is a bit of a puzzler - I received a call from someone claiming to be from Liverpool Victoria, or LV as they're now known, although the caller didn’t use that term. They had my surname but, curiously, addressed me by a shortened version of my name, which raised a few red flags since all my official paperwork has my full name on it. To make things even more suspicious, she requested my date of birth and the monthly amount I was contributing to the policy. The thing is, this policy was taken out when I was a child by my mother, so I had no idea about those details. It’s strange that she used my nickname, and how did she even get hold of my relatively new mobile number? After chatting with my mum, I found out that the amount she mentioned was actually less than what they were supposedly offering, suggesting that they owed me money - if only! The caller seemed quite content with a rough estimate, but when I admitted I couldn’t recall the exact figure, she quickly switched gears and said, “We’ll send you something,” before hanging up abruptly. I’m sharing this as an anonymous post because the whole encounter left me uncertain about whether it was a scam. Most con artists typically wouldn’t let something minor like forgetting a payment amount deter their pursuit of money. I’ve had my fair share of fun winding up scammers for hours as they desperately try to get a hold of my cash, but this woman didn't play along - she ended the call rather swiftly. And the fact she was in possession of my life insurance company information made the whole situation even trickier to decipher. In hindsight, I should have probed her for more details, like my address and other specifics related to the policy, but the use of my nickname had me on high alert right until she hung up. I realise this comment may not be the most insightful, but I genuinely hope there’s enough here to assist others who might find themselves in a similar position.

This number has been persistently ringing my phone, yet I've never actually answered. My device has flagged it as spam, and they seem to be intent on calling me daily. It's incredibly irritating, to say the least.
