Just got a call from 01412806354, it said it was from Glasgow. I didn’t pick up cos it felt dodgy. The phone rang three times then stopped. Funny thing is, it showed Glasgow on my phone screen but I don’t know anyone from there at all. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming they were with ECO Findings and DWP. The lady said my house might be eligible for some heating and insulation scheme or something like that. She started by asking if I was the homeowner, so I replied, "Well, why don't you tell me, and which house exactly are you talking about?" She seemed a bit flustered, said "sorry," and then just ended the call.

Got a ring from someone called Chris who said he was doing energy consultations nearby, but I’m over 300 miles away. When I asked how he could be local if he was calling from Scotland, he just said ‘nice chatting’ and cut off. Before he hung up, I told him to shove off.

Some bloke called claiming to be from the local energy company, but I soon spotted he was fibbing. I’m in Lincolnshire, not Glasgow, so that made no sense at all. When I questioned him about how a Glasgow firm could be local to me, he just cut the call sharpish. Voice was alright, but I’m not falling for that sort of thing!

I had a run-in with one of these con artists the other day, and honestly, they’re living it up. When I called them out about targeting old and vulnerable folks, they got all high and mighty. One of them actually said, “While you lot from the working class are scraping by on whatever meal you can get, we’ll be chilling out in Miami, sipping cocktails and tucking into Lobster Thermidor before long.” They claimed they’re cashing in big time despite the cost of living crisis, making millions while the rest of us are watching our pay packets shrink. Bloody infuriating!
