I contacted Virgin regarding this number, along with a few others that are quite similar. The response I received was rather infuriating; apparently, those pesky callers are operating within legal parameters as long as they provide a contact number. Virgin mentioned they could block such numbers for a monthly fee of £2.75 (because, of course, the £19 line rental is apparently insufficient). As for calls from those who don’t leave a number? Well, it seems there’s nothing Virgin is willing to do, nor do they seem particularly keen on addressing the issue.
