We've been plagued by these unsavoury types lately... We’ve been settled in our new abode for a couple of years now and, when we signed up with BT, they assigned us a fresh phone number. Unfortunately, it seems this number has a rather dubious history, having belonged to a notorious debtor. As a result, it’s become a magnet for every dodgy character and shakedown artist looking for an easy target to harass us over the phone. Thankfully, the previous occupants aren't associated with our current address anymore! Should this persistent nuisance carry on, we won't hesitate to involve the authorities!

I've been getting calls from this number purporting to be a debt collection agency claiming I owe some money. Honestly, it’s absolute nonsense and their attitude is downright atrocious.
