I received a rather peculiar call from a woman who inquired if I was Mr and Mrs F****. I responded, “I’m just Mr F*****”. She then had the audacity to ask if I was over the age of 75, to which I curtly replied, “That’s rather personal, don’t you think?” Following that, she moved on to discuss insulation for my home. I informed her that it had all been replaced two years prior. She then suggested it might need renewing. At that point, I decided I'd had enough and wished her a “lovely day”. In my view, this call reeked of insincerity. I’ve since blocked the number.
