Got a call about some supposed offer linked to my recent RAC membership, something about 3 months free finance cover or whatever. Then the person started asking if I was married and the name of my partner. I told them if they were really from RAC they’d already have that info, but they said they only have my name as the policy holder since they’re not the breakdown team. When I asked what happens after the 3 months, they said it’s my decision and I could call to cancel whenever. I said I wasn’t interested, and they wanted to know why. I just said, I’m not, so please stop calling!
