9 monthsGot an email supposedly from HSBC (which I’m not even a customer of) telling me a new direct debit for "UK Dental Care" has been arranged for £549.99. When I hovered over the sender’s email, it showed "folad.fawad1 at mutt.ac.th" - the .ac.th domain is from Thailand universities. Definitely a scam, don’t click on any links or ring the number mentioned. Stay safe!HSBCUK Dental CareThailand9 monthsGot an email (actually got two) that looked like it was from Barclays saying there was a new direct debit set up to pay Dental Care LTD £549.99 every month starting now. It said to ring the number if I didn’t approve it, which I definitely didn’t. Just ignored the whole thing.BarclaysDental Care LTD9 monthsGot a text from Barclays saying there’s a direct debit set up for Dental Care Ltd for £549.99 and to ring this number. If you didn’t expect this, please ring 0141 266 0453. Thank you for choosing Barclays Plc UK.'' Clearly a con. They want me to ring back this 0141 number if I didn’t authorise it. No chance I’m calling that.BarclaysBeechview Dental CareBelfast9 monthsJust got an email claiming it’s from Barclays with info about a direct debit to Beechview Dental Care for £479.99 starting next month. I’ve never come across them before and the Barclays email signature had some spelling mistakes. I’m gonna ring my bank, but I bet calling that 0141 number just plays into a scam. I have private dental insurance but not with Beechview, and I don’t even use Barclays for my accounts!BarclaysBeechview Dental CareBeechview9 monthsJust got an email claiming to be from Barclays about a new direct debit to Beechview Dental Care for £479.99 starting next month. I've no idea who these people are and the Barclays footer on the email has errors. I'm planning to ring my bank, but I reckon phoning the 0141 number they gave is just part of the con.BarclaysBeechview Dental CareSubmit Your Own Report (0141 266 0453)
