I swear these calls never last long enough for me to even pick up the phone! They hang up so quick my answer machine doesn’t even get a chance. Plus, I don’t know anyone up near Glasgow at all, so when I get one of these numbers from that area popping up, it’s clearly just some random cold caller.

Somebody rang up claiming to be with the Ministry of Justice, but it was clear they were trying to scam me. They even said they’d visit my home and escort me to the bank to cash a cheque. It was really shady behaviour. At one point, they asked if I was disabled, which felt really wrong.
