I received a call from a chap named "Dan" who was inquiring about one of my colleagues, mentioning their name. When I probed for the purpose of his call, he casually mentioned "broadband". I promptly informed him that we don't entertain sales pitches. To my surprise, he chuckled and insisted, "Oh, it's not a sales pitch!"

I believe the company in question is KINEX, and the floor manager is a chap named John. Quite frustrating, really-they seem to disconnect your calls the moment you start asking any questions.

I received a call inquiring about my business name, but when I probed for the identity of the caller, the line suddenly cut off. Quite peculiar!

Just received a call that seemed to be either a marketing ploy or from some debt collection agency, harping on about a BT account. The thing is, I haven't had any dealings with BT in yonks! I can only imagine how much they forked out for that outdated information.
