Got a call from someone saying they’re from ns&i savings bank, talking about some recent transaction. Sounds dodgy to me, especially since they wanted personal info. Definitely a scam!

This wasn’t one of those scams. They left me a voicemail, and when I rang back, it was actually a nice bloke from NS&I. He was just checking who I was after I’d asked to take money out of my Premium Bond account.

Got a call today from this number claiming it was some kind of "security check". I know NS&I doesn't ring you out of the blue, so I hung up straight away without sharing anything. I then used 1471 to find out who called me. For anyone trying to reach me, I'm a Bondholder with ref 37358480F.

I got a call from this number and it was NSI checking up on me about some money transfer I supposedly requested. If it feels dodgy, just hang up and ring their customer support on 0808 500 7007. They’ll connect you straight to the security folks who handle these checks. Better safe than sorry!

Every time I answer this number, it’s a woman claiming she works in security at NSI. But when I contacted NSI, they told me they have no clue who she could be! Really odd situation.
