Got a call from someone saying they’re from ns&i savings bank, talking about some recent transaction. Sounds dodgy to me, especially since they wanted personal info. Definitely a scam!

I can assure you, it's not a scam. They left me a message, and when I returned the call, it turned out to be a proper chap from NS&I checking my identity after I had requested a withdrawal from my Premium Bond account. Quite legitimate, indeed!

I received a phone call today claiming to be for a "security verification." Having read that NS&I doesn’t reach out to people without prior contact, I promptly hung up before divulging any personal details. I used 1471 to retrieve the caller's number. By the way, I’m a Bondholder with reference number 37358480F, should you wish to get in touch with me.

I’ve consistently encountered a woman when calling this number, claiming to be part of the security team over at NSI. Oddly enough, I reached out to NSI directly, and they were just as perplexed, stating they don’t have a clue who she is! Quite the mystery, I must say!
