Got another annoying call about hearing stuff. I've blocked this number now.

Inquired if there were any hearing-impaired individuals in the residence. When I mentioned I was, they proceeded to ask my age. Upon revealing my true age of 82, they abruptly disconnected the call. No clue what they were trying to peddle.

Someone with a weird accent kept asking about hearing stuff, total pain in the neck.

Blocked them straight after seeing all these comments. They really should be shut down, but it seems they’re always one step ahead. Ignoring the law and new data protection rules clearly doesn’t bother them at all. That’s my rant done!

this number rang me twice already this week. i had call guardian on so it blocked those pesky spam calls from getting through.

I received a call from someone inquiring about an individual named Mr Summers. When I informed them that they’d dialled the wrong number, they were quite apologetic and proceeded to request my assistance with a few questions. Clearly, it was a marketing firm, so I swiftly ended the call and added the number to my block list.

These absolute numpties just won't take a hint! They never bother to drop me a message, which makes them a right pain in the neck. It's honestly just so irritating and bothersome.

I've been bombarded by calls from this number non-stop. I tend to ignore calls from unknown digits because if it's important, I reckon they'd leave a voicemail, right? But now they've even started leaving voicemails that are completely silent! So now, I just block every number I don’t recognise. It’s reached the point where I’ve actually had to unplug my landline, which is absurd, to say the least. Surely, something must be done about this!

It's a classic ploy to instil an unfounded sense of confidence in people, as we tend to trust local businesses more readily-especially since they possess a physical presence and can't just vanish without a trace if things go awry. Those making calls while masked by blocked IDs or anonymity only reinforce the age-old wisdom about guilt; it’s reminiscent of the tale of Adam and Eve trying to hide after their misdeeds. While I’m not particularly devout, I do believe that concealing one's true self often hints at a lack of accountability personally, or perhaps a guilty conscience. I understand that making a living in an uncertain job market can be incredibly tough, and I have some sympathy for those navigating that minefield. However, anyone who continues to bother those who have firmly requested not to be contacted-even if it’s the same call centre or the same individual-should face the consequences, including potential legal action for persistent harassment. I find it quite troubling that there are numerous websites claiming to provide reverse phone lookup services and document call histories. What’s even more concerning to me is the perceived lack of support from law enforcement in combating this kind of low-level intimidation and other forms of domestic terrorism in Scotland. Instead of merely showcasing their impressive weaponry, perhaps the police ought to focus on taking action against the real threats, like the illicit drug users who terrorise our communities.

I received no response and then the call cut off. I think I’ll be disregarding any future calls from this number.

They kept ringing me with nothing but silence on the other end when I answered. Last week, while I was away enjoying a holiday, I decided to turn the tables on them. I picked up and just stayed quiet, letting them repeat "hello...hello" until they got fed up. Eventually, I’ve decided enough is enough and blocked the number.

I've been receiving multiple calls from this number, but every time I try to return the call, there's just silence on the other end. It's becoming quite bothersome, to say the least.

I'm receiving a constant stream of annoying calls that are really getting on my nerves. It’s getting to the point where I'm seriously considering changing my phone number. If I ever figure out what they’re pitching, you can be sure I won’t touch their products with a bargepole!

It seems like this number belongs to a firm that conducts surveys on various products and services. Just the other week, I received a call where they were probing for my name, age bracket, and other demographic details. It was around half past six in the evening, right when I was attempting to prepare dinner, so I ended up rather abruptly terminating the conversation. They rang me again today, but I wasn't able to pick up. My phone indicated that the caller was from Glasgow, which piqued my curiosity.

I keep receiving calls on my mobile that only ring once before cutting off. It's rather puzzling and quite irritating!
