Today, I received a rather alarming call from an individual purporting to represent HMRC, who seemed to have access to my personal tax details! They ominously threatened me with an arrest warrant and an impending court case unless I made an immediate payment. Following this, I was transferred to someone named Victoria, who alleged she was affiliated with the NRA. Curiously, she rang me back from a London number (0207 2382626). It's crystal clear that this is a scam! I urge anyone who encounters this to refrain from making any payments and to report the incident to Action Fraud as well as HMRC. Not to mention, when I pressed her about the non-payment, she abruptly ended the call!

Today I got a call from a number (0141 2284991), with the caller pretending to be from HMRC. They had my tax info and threatened legal action including an arrest warrant if I didn’t pay immediately. Then I got transferred to a woman named Victoria who said she was from the NRA, but she rang me back on a London-based number (0207 2382626). This was obviously a scam. Do not send any money and make sure to report it to Action Fraud and HMRC. When I confronted her about not paying, she simply ended the call straight away!
