We've been getting some random recorded messages lately. It's likely due to our outstanding balance with HSBC for an old overdraft - they must have sent the account to collections. No doubt we do owe them, but we can't help but chuckle at the fact that their representatives are always referred to as Mr Wilson, reminiscent of the character from that old Dennis the Menace cartoon! It feels rather like winding back the clock to our school days!

We received a call from this number and decided to ring back. Upon doing so, the individuals on the other end asked us for our name, which we provided. However, they then demanded our date of birth and home address. Naturally, we were wary and inquired who they were and the purpose of their call, given the sensitivity of the information being asked for-potentially a setup for identity theft! The response was less than reassuring; they insisted they wouldn’t disclose any information unless we first supplied all of our details. We made it clear that we would be reporting this to the local authorities, and they promptly hung up on us. Quite suspicious behaviour, if you ask me!

I have absolutely no clue who this person might be.

I recently came across this phone number belonging to Allied International Credit. They're essentially a collection agency that collaborates with credit card companies to recover outstanding debts. It seems they're relentless in their pursuit, jumping on any opportunity to hound you into settling your dues. At the moment, they're tasked with chasing me for an RBS credit card debt. Hope this sheds some light on the matter!

Why does this number persistently ring us with the same automated message day in and day out? I don't have any debts with Lloyds TSB whatsoever! If they truly have evidence against us, why don't they bother to serve us with a court order instead?

We’ve been bombarded with calls that leave a voicemail from AIC, insisting it’s urgent and meant for someone named Mr Lyon. They mention speaking to a Mr Wilson and reference number 3939001. The odd thing is, we’re not Mr Lyon at all! There’s no chance we’d ring them back to clarify. Fed up with the constant messages, we decided to look up the number and landed on this website. Is there anyone who knows what this is all about? Anyone familiar with it?

I've received a few calls from this number, but I've got no clue who's behind it. Anyone have any thoughts?

These individuals are from a debt recovery agency, and the only company we recognise that they are associated with is Natwest Bank. They're relentlessly pursuing us regarding money that we believe was deceitfully handled!

I've been inundated with their endless voice messages, and it's the same old drivel every single time. They keep pestering me to ring back and quote some reference number, which is just tedious. Honestly, in the last three weeks alone, I've received about ten of these irritating messages. It’s really becoming a nuisance!

This number keeps ringing us incessantly-had it ten times just today alone! Honestly, it's becoming quite tiresome. You can't even tell them to clear off, seeing as it’s all automated messages. I’m planning to give them a bell tomorrow to find out what the heck it’s all about once and for all. I’ll update you afterwards!

I've received two 'urgent' voicemails urging me to return their calls! These individuals seem to relish keeping you on the line, draining your phone credit in the process! I've left two messages trying to reach them, yet they don't bother to reply. We have absolutely no connection to Lloyds TSB. It's incredibly impolite, isn't it?

Dodgy loan sharks! The moment you even think about applying for a loan and get turned down, or decide against pursuing it, a bunch of unscrupulous blokes start ringing you up. It’s infuriating! They’ve clearly picked up your number, likely through some underhanded means. Just tell them you bought your number off eBay and that if they don’t take you off their list pronto, you’ll be pursuing legal action against them. Ridiculous, isn’t it? They really ought to be ashamed of themselves!

As for my thoughts on the matter, it appears to be connected to Lloyds, who are likely to come after me for some funds shortly. I’ve made it quite clear to dear old Lloyds that once I receive a refund for our £3,000 in overdraft charges, I’d be more than happy to settle our £1,000 overdraft.

Absolutely infuriating, this! We submitted an application for a Barclaycard a mere two hours back and then received this call. What a bunch of plonkers! I might have to get my own auto-dialler to pay them back!

I received a call from a company named Allied International. It appears they might be associated with individuals who have outstanding debts to Lloyds TSB. To be honest, I'm a bit puzzled by what the previous commenter mentioned! Hope this information proves useful!

We’ve been receiving calls from this number non-stop, with a recorded message saying something like, “Urgent, this is AIC, please return the call,” and honestly, it’s quite tiresome. We’re certain it's got nothing to do with Lloyds TSB, as we have zero ties with them. Has anyone else experienced this? Or perhaps someone has actually called them back? Would love to hear your thoughts!

As former partners, I can’t help but wonder how these individuals have managed to obtain our contact details. They’ve been ringing us up, asking for someone who has no ties whatsoever to the number they dialled. Honestly, don't these folks have more important pursuits than wasting our time with a robotic message that zips by so quickly? It's quite perplexing!

I've received yet another voicemail from these people, and it's the same old nonsense - just droning on about some reference number or other. Honestly, I've had close to ten messages in the last few weeks. It's becoming quite tiresome, to say the least!

We've been receiving constant calls from this number, so we decided to give them a ring ourselves. The individuals on the other end actually shared the full name and address of the person they were inquiring about, but I can assure you, they're not a resident of our home. I'm a bit dubious about the whole data protection angle - could it possibly be a scam? The lady claimed they would remove our number from their list. Guess I'll have to wait and see!

I've received a couple of messages from a Mr Wilson, and I must say, we have no connections whatsoever with Allied. We're quite content as Lloyds TSB clients with no outstanding debts. I'm quite baffled as to how these individuals got hold of our number. I’m planning to give Lloyds a ring to get to the bottom of this. It seems that a watchdog might be an excellent course of action!

Has anyone bothered to ring them back? Because honestly, these folks are quite infuriating!

I recently received a call from what felt like an automated system asserting that it was from Whitelaw and insisting I return the call urgently. However, I've never had any sort of engagement with Lloyds TSB, so there’s no way this is related. When we attempted to ring back, we were placed on hold for a mere two seconds before it claimed that the extension was invalid and promptly disconnected us. Quite the bewildering experience!
