Received a rather unpleasant call from an unknown number; I suspect it might be a scammer trying their luck. It's rather troubling not knowing who they are or their intentions.

Today, I received a rather perplexing text from a number I thought I'd effectively blocked. It was a rather formal message addressed to MISS VICKIE THURGOOD, instructing her to ring Mr Campbell at AIC on 01414577044, quoting reference 8743596. Curious, I dialled the number only to be greeted by an automated Scottish voice, informing me that all their agents were currently busy and asking me to hang tight. After a lengthy wait of about 20 minutes filled with an endless loop of tunes and robotic chatter, I ultimately learned they were too inundated to take my call and suggested I try again later. Naturally, I called back, but to my disbelief, the same scenario repeated itself! One can only hope these futile endeavours won’t incur additional charges on my plan! For context, I've been without a permanent home and bouncing from one sofa to another for nearly five years, and I assure you, any debts I have are already being managed.

I keep getting calls from this number, and it’s nothing but relentless voicemails. They always leave a reference number for me to ring them back, which is rather tiresome, to be honest.

This relates to a debt that has been collected in collaboration with Spark Energy.

I received a call today where they specifically asked for me by name, claiming to be from Spark Energy. The account is solely in my husband's name, so I told them I wasn't interested and requested that they don't ring my mobile again. I'm curious, though-how on earth did they manage to get my mobile number in the first place?

I've recently been sent a rather suspicious text from this number, requesting that I give a ring to a Mr. Lang at AIC, along with a reference number. It seems Spark Energy is trying to squeeze more funds from me - the catch is, we've never even entered into any sort of contract with them, nor have we ever come across their name prior to this. When we relocated, we simply transferred our existing provider. What should I do next?

I recently had a rather peculiar experience with Spark Energy and their associates, Aic. Just the other day, I received a voicemail from a chap representing Spark, and to my surprise, the very next day I found another message waiting for me, this time from Aic. Lo and behold, it was the same voice from before! It makes me wonder if they’re employing this tactic to intimidate customers. Honestly, it seems like neither of them is a genuine debt collection agency. In my opinion, Spark is an utter con. There's no chance I'll be dealing with them again in the future.

I recently found myself in quite a dilemma when AIC got in touch with me after I received some rather menacing texts from Spark Energy. The account in question wasn't initiated by me, and I never got any paper bills delivered to my doorstep - just incessant texts demanding payment of over £60 for a time when I wasn’t even residing in the flat. True, I had the tenancy agreement in hand, but I was unable to move in as our belongings were still en route from Australia. Just to clarify, nothing in the apartment was operational while we were waiting for our stuff to arrive. It seems utterly absurd to impose a charge of over £60 based on some guessed meter reading. This whole affair pertains to a year ago, so one can’t help but wonder why they opted for texts instead of traditional post. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of Spark Energy! And AIC should certainly exercise more discretion regarding who they take on as clients!

I’ve recently relocated and needed to close my Spark energy account. My final bill was due by the 28th of May, and I received multiple reminders via texts and letters from Spark energy prompting me to settle the payment. On the 6th of June, I got in touch with them, only to find that they had already handed my details over to Allied International. I informed them that I’d be settling the outstanding balance on the 23rd of June, which they were fine with. However, I then received a call from Allied International regarding the bill. After explaining the situation, they made a note on my account. I’d recommend reaching out to Spark energy directly, as I found their bills can sometimes be off and I had to chase them for my final bill (it's been two months since I vacated the old place).

I recently got a message prompting me to reach out to this number, and I suspect it’s linked to Spark Energy. I received a bill that was ludicrously inflated-far beyond what I normally pay. So, I decided to get in touch with Spark to rectify the situation. When I called, I pointed out that the estimated readings they were using were way off the mark. My typical usage is no more than £50 monthly, yet they were trying to charge me four times that! I made another payment, but insisted that someone come over to verify my claims. Subsequently, I received a letter from a debt collection agency, and now this message. Honestly, I plan to just disregard it entirely, as I firmly believe it’s a SCAM aimed at squeezing more money out of me.

I received a call from someone inquiring about my other half, but when I probed them for the reason behind their call, they hid behind the "data protection" excuse. I kept pressing for more details, particularly what the matter pertained to, since I figured if it was significant, I ought to be in the loop. However, she refused to divulge anything and mentioned she'd attempt to reach him through different channels, which I found rather amusing as I’m listed on all the contact information - a bit daft on his part to have everything in his name, really! Massive thanks to everyone who shared insights before, as it turns out this whole thing is just linked to our previous accommodation where we had Spark Energy. At least now I'm aware it’s all a load of tosh, and I needn't fret about it any further.

I’ve been receiving constant calls from them, claiming I’m in debt to Spark for over £400. It’s baffling, as I diligently read my meter every month and settle my bills regularly. When I requested a toll-free number to discuss this matter, they provided me with one that charges. I’ve had enough and told them to take me to court if that’s what they fancy. Honestly, Spark is a dreadful company, and their tactics reek of unscrupulous behaviour.

I've been inundated by calls from what claims to be a debt collection agency, insisting that we owe Spark Energy some dosh. The reality is, our agreement with Spark Energy wrapped up back in April 2016, when they even credited our account before we moved over to our current supplier, OvoEnergy. I've taken the step of blocking that number, as well as the Spark Energy contact (03451300835) concerning overdue debts, supposedly from one Paul Martin who heads up Customer Services. It's baffling how these blatant scams can carry on without a hitch! Why aren't they being dealt with?

I've been receiving calls from this company along with a couple of others. It all stems from my recent move and the need to sort out my energy supplier. Prior to this, I was completely unaware of Spark, only discovering they were the previous provider for my new residence. They're demanding a staggering £87 for just 20 days of electricity - mind you, this is during the summer! Back at my previous place, my direct debit was only £35 a month. After a chat with Spark, they reduced their estimate to £50, which still feels excessive. To make matters worse, I've learned that there's a smart meter installed at the property. I requested proof of how they've arrived at that figure based on my energy usage, but they tell me it's the new supplier's responsibility to provide that information. It appears Spark is simply making wild assumptions about my electricity consumption. I refuse to settle any payment until they can provide me with actual data from the smart meter.

I've been bombarded with calls from this number, despite the fact that I've already called and emailed Spark to shut down my account since I haven't resided there for over two months. To make matters worse, I keep getting messages about an overdue bill, and they're asking for £87 to close my account! Did anyone else have to go through this?

I received a call from Allied International Credit, allegedly representing Spark Energy, asking me to verify my address. However, I didn't comply. When I inquired about the purpose of their call, they insisted that I had to confirm my details before they would provide any information. Once more, I declined. They then recommended that I contact Spark Energy myself. But why on earth would I do that? I had never even heard of them until they started bothering me. I’ve been happily with my current energy supplier for several years. It’s quite baffling that these individuals can’t find honest employment like the rest of us. Surely there must be better job opportunities available? It’s rather disappointing to see such practices at play!

I've been associated with a firm named Tenant Saver for the past year. They charge me £39 monthly, but recently I received a staggering bill for £539. To add to my frustration, they contacted my elderly mother, who's 75, asking her to settle it. I ended up paying that hefty amount myself. Just yesterday, I received an email stating I have a mere 10 days to cough up the same amount again or face consequences. I rang them today to express my displeasure over this predicament, and after putting me on hold for a ten-minute eternity, the representative informed me it was due to me not having terminated my contract with them.

My mother used to be a customer of Sparks Energy but switched to E.ON last April. Now, this so-called debt collection agency keeps phoning me incessantly. Just a couple of weeks ago, I received an email apologising for her departure and stating that her final bill amounts to £80. What a racket! She was previously paying between £60 and £80 monthly for gas, but eventually, she had to cut it off completely. It’s beyond me where this last bill has sprung from. Why on earth are they chasing after money that’s already been settled, especially since she nearly left them a year ago? To add to the confusion, Mum only received one bill from E.ON in June, which she has already paid-£80, and she’s now ahead with her account. This whole situation with that company is utterly ludicrous!

I've been pestered by debt collectors representing Spark Energy, and let me tell you, they're after payments for erroneous bills that are completely fabricated-I'm talking made-up meter readings that are still being contested. Just a heads up, if you rent through Your Move Estate Agents, they automatically link you up with these collectors. It feels like there's something dodgy going on here; I can't shake the feeling that they’re in cahoots.

I'm in the same boat as you. This energy provider is utterly dreadful! They've clearly partnered with student accommodation firms to rope in unsuspecting students. Honestly, steer clear of them like you'd avoid the plague! They keep hounding us for payments that they allege we owe, yet when we left and transitioned to another provider, we were assured that everything was settled. Now, a year later, they're contacting me again, even though I've moved overseas! I've already blocked one of their numbers, but they just keep switching to yet another. Is there any way to make them stop ringing me at 11 in the morning every single day? And to top it off, they’ve started sending me texts as well… what a nightmare!

This number relentlessly rings us at the same hour each day, seemingly attempting to collect on an outstanding bill from Spark Energy - undoubtedly the most dreadful energy provider out there! They’ve plunged my partner and me into significant financial turmoil, making it impossible for us to settle our debts. I reckon this is a dodgy outfit colluding with Spark Energy, attempting to swindle folks into coughing up on fake bills. There’s a right scandal brewing with Spark, as numerous authorities have taken a keen interest in their activities. It’s best to ignore any demands from these callers. I'm continually receiving calls regarding an "outstanding payment" for Spark Energy, but I cleared that before switching to British Gas; otherwise, they wouldn't have allowed the transfer.
While we're at it, let me strongly advise you: AVOID SPARK ENERGY LIKE THE PLAGUE! They're nothing short of a bunch of swindlers who ensnare renters with dodgy contracts and then bombard you with ludicrous bills that are far above what other suppliers charge!
Essentially, SPARK ENERGY simply purchases gas from other companies and rakes in profits at the expense of unsuspecting customers!
Do yourself a favour and take a look at the reviews for Spark Energy on Google. You’ll notice a handful of positive testimonials, likely penned by their own employees, but the majority of feedback is from disillusioned customers who feel utterly cheated out of their hard-earned cash! I can’t stress enough how important it is to heed these warnings!!!

Allied International Credit has been incessantly ringing me about a long-resolved issue with Spark Energy (the absolute worst energy provider I've ever encountered - an utter sham that will fleece you). This matter dates back over a year and has been settled. If they persist in bombarding my mobile four times daily while I'm at work, I’ll have no choice but to escalate the matter. Initially, they appeared to be making test calls, hanging up when I picked up. Today, I finally engaged with someone, but I refused to divulge any information over the phone (a standard practice for me when I suspect a dodgy call). I've been bombarded with calls from this number-over a hundred times at various hours! I'm ex-directory, so I've no clue how they managed to obtain my details. There's absolutely no justification for them to reach out to me. I keep my phone on hand solely for my children as a single parent, as I'm not allowed to use it at my job.
