I just got a call from this number, and honestly, I've got no clue who Mr Millar is. I've certainly never shared my contact details with anyone by that name, which is rather frustrating, to say the least!

As it stands, we find ourselves with just over £2000 owed to NatWest for a loan. The chaps involved have kindly accepted a mere £10 a month through HSBC. We appreciate that it's an affordable arrangement, but how do we keep track of our payment history? It’s a tad puzzling why they would be agreeable to such a minimal payment, to be honest. Would it be wise to request something in writing to confirm our agreement? Unlike other creditors who have sent us letters, these particular folks seem to rely solely on phone calls for communication.

Received a rather alarming email indicating that we supposedly owe a sum of £4936.14. It's the sole correspondence we've had from them, yet they're threatening legal action if we fail to settle the amount, stating they could garnish our wages. This has all come as a complete surprise, as we've had no prior dealings with this lot. What course of action should we take?

Indeed, it's those AIC debt collectors pursuing payment for a MINT credit card in our situation. Honestly, they can play their little tunes all they want!

Blimey, these characters have been hounding me for the past four months, not just weeks! Today, it was some lot calling themselves Allied International, and just the other day, it was those AIC muppets. What a bunch of numpties!

Received a pair of calls on the very same day from someone searching for 'Stephen'. Once we informed them that there’s no one by that name residing here, the young lady, who had a rather strong Scottish accent, became quite rude and insisted we confirm our address and provide information on the residents. Quite an odd encounter, to say the least!

I suspect this might be another dodgy scheme... the caller actually had my name and claimed they were addressing some personal issue. I wasn’t about to divulge any details, so I just cut off the call and blocked the number.

I can’t believe how relentless these callers are! They keep pestering us about a lady named Rachel. It's absolutely infuriating! Just last month, while we were in South Africa, they rang us, and it ended up costing us a small fortune just to check our voicemail. To top it off, we received yet another missed call from them last month. It's beyond frustrating!

I received a call from AIC on Argyle Street in Glasgow. It appears that this lot purchases debts from various companies and then relentlessly chases you for payment. If they happen to ring you again, I suggest telling them to correspond solely in writing. The authorities have been advising me not to disclose any personal information to strangers. I have a hunch that not many of their staff are particularly adept at writing anyway, so that should put an end to their incessant calls.

This is the first occasion we've received correspondence from AIC, and we've been unable to get in touch with them to resolve the issue. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

Absolutely ridiculous! This company really ought to sort out their customer service team with competent individuals. They persistently bombard us with calls, but we’ve chosen to ignore them now. Also, we’ve changed our home phone number and intend to keep it confidential!

Blimey, we’ve been bombarded with countless calls from these so-called debt collectors trying to track down a bloke named Robert Hall, someone we’ve never come across in our lives! It's baffling! After a few attempts, we finally got through to them, and they were quite insistent on getting our personal information. My advice? Don’t give them a thing! Thankfully, it’s been a few weeks since we heard from them, but I can’t shake off this feeling that something fishy is afoot. Totally smells like a scam to me!

I've had a run-in with these clowns before. One of them asked us to confirm our name, address, date of birth, and all sorts of personal details. We just told them the number instead. Why on earth would we share our private information with someone we don't even know? They seemed completely baffled when we questioned their motives, as they were trying to make it all about data protection. Honestly, I don't reckon they managed to get any of our details in the end. It seems best to just politely decline and follow up with a letter, just to be on the safe side.

This number called our work mobile, but hung up shortly after just a couple of rings.

I’ve started using our mobile number to reach out to my husband. Honestly, the level of rudeness from these folks I’ve tried to speak to is astounding!

Blimey, I’ve been inundated with calls from various folk! It’s driving us up the wall! We're in debt to quite a few companies, scattered all over really, so I can’t figure out who’s trying to reach me. I’m reluctant to pick up and have a chinwag with them, though. Has anyone got a clever way to shake off these muppets?

Indeed! It’s rather peculiar, isn’t it? These individuals market themselves as AIC, and they persistently pursue debts on behalf of NatWest. It's absolutely bizarre that they manage to call both our mobile and home phone at precisely the same moment using this number. Given that we're currently in an IVA, we’ve made it clear to them, yet they continue to bombard us with incessant calls multiple times a day. It's downright harassment, if you ask me! They definitely have a knack for behaving like bullies. I truly appreciate this platform-it has allowed us to identify all their numbers, and now we simply disregard their attempts to reach us. Cheers for that!

Has anyone any idea who's behind this number or why they keep ringing me? It's rather puzzling!

I can't believe how many people are constantly ringing me! It's driving me bonkers! We happen to owe money to quite a few different companies, so I have no clue which one is calling. Honestly, I’m not keen on picking up the phone and engaging with them. Has anyone stumbled upon a clever trick to shake off these pests?

I received a call from this number, and it was a pre-recorded message mentioning my name, urging me to contact a Mr Millar at the same number and to mention a reference. However, they didn’t provide any further details. I chose not to return the call since I have no idea who Mr Millar is, and the whole thing felt quite suspicious. This is especially concerning given that we’ve recently incurred charges from opening SMS messages linked to other questionable companies, despite not having signed up for any services.

If you head over to the Consumer Action Group's forums, particularly the section on the Debt Collection Industry, you'll notice that AIC comes up quite a bit. There's plenty of information available that will help you draw your own conclusions about their practices. It’s worth noting that many users describe their conduct as quite rude and lacking in integrity, with frequent instances of misrepresentation reported.

I received a rather suspicious call from this number, where an automated voice addressed me by name and instructed me to contact a Mr Millar, quoting a reference number. No further details were provided, which only added to my unease. I decided against returning the call as I have no acquaintance by that name, and it struck me as rather dubious. This comes on the heels of some recent charges I've incurred for responding to messages from other sketchy firms, despite having never subscribed to their services. Quite unsettling, to say the least!
