I only said “hello” then put the phone down after a few seconds since I could hear people talking in the background. Didn’t give out my number or anything. I’m on the TPS list, so I really don’t want these kinds of calls. No one really replied properly either.

Got a voicemail from a woman speaking with a thick Scottish accent, trying to leave a message for my husband. I couldn't catch everything she said, but it sounded like a sales pitch aimed at business owners. She mentioned some sort of Q&A session lasting about 45 minutes and asked for bank details. Apparently, you'd get £80 once the survey was done as a thank you. She did say the company's name, but it was hard to make out. There was a callback number left too, but we're not planning on calling back.

Got a call from this number, a lady speaking with a Scottish accent said she was from Liverpool Victoria, asking for feedback on some new yearly statement form. She told me they’d pay £60 if I came along to the Hilton Hotel in Cobham, Surrey on 12/07/18. She wanted to check if I had a bond with LV. First thing we did was look up the number and ended up here on your site. Honestly, not sure what the scam’s about - I’m planning to ring LV and the hotel once they’re open tomorrow to see what’s really going on.

I received a call suggesting there was a gathering in Newcastle for TSB customers. Naturally, I decided to double-check with TSB, and they confirmed there was no such event and that it had nothing to do with them. Sounds like a sneaky ploy to lure you out of your home, if you ask me!
