I only said “hello” then put the phone down after a few seconds since I could hear people talking in the background. Didn’t give out my number or anything. I’m on the TPS list, so I really don’t want these kinds of calls. No one really replied properly either.

Got a voicemail from a woman speaking with a thick Scottish accent, trying to leave a message for my husband. I couldn't catch everything she said, but it sounded like a sales pitch aimed at business owners. She mentioned some sort of Q&A session lasting about 45 minutes and asked for bank details. Apparently, you'd get £80 once the survey was done as a thank you. She did say the company's name, but it was hard to make out. There was a callback number left too, but we're not planning on calling back.

I received a call from a woman sporting a Scottish accent, claiming to be from Liverpool Victoria, seeking opinions on their new annual statement document. She proposed a £60 incentive for me to attend a meeting at the Hilton Hotel in Cobham, Surrey, scheduled for the 12th of July, 2018. This was supposedly to verify whether I held a bond with LV. Our initial instinct was to verify the number she called from, which we’ve just located on your website. I’m rather puzzled about what this ruse could entail - I’ll be reaching out to both LV and the hotel first thing tomorrow when they open up.

I received a call suggesting there was a gathering in Newcastle for TSB customers. Naturally, I decided to double-check with TSB, and they confirmed there was no such event and that it had nothing to do with them. Sounds like a sneaky ploy to lure you out of your home, if you ask me!
