Got a call from 01412257679 claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, but when I picked up, they didn’t respond immediately and then just dropped the call. Seemed fishy, so I blocked the number straight away. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam.

They phoned and only rang for about 16 seconds, no voicemail or anything. Sounds like a call centre to me, so I’m guessing it’s probably a scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
