Selfish individuals, I daresay.

We've received three calls in the span of merely three hours this afternoon from these folks. Immediately after the first call, we reached out to them and were promised that our number would be taken off the list linked to the person they were trying to get hold of. It’s honestly quite frustrating-their approach seems rather slack and ineffective.

We've been facing significant issues with them, and we're currently in a disagreement with one of their clients. OPUS operates as a rather unscrupulous debt collection agency, showing little willingness to negotiate any fair payment arrangements. One individual in particular, a Mr Russell Collins, has been extraordinarily unreasonable; his unprofessional and confrontational manner has only made matters worse. It's been quite the ordeal!

Our former employer issued us a cheque for our salaries, which we ended up cashing at a cheque shop in Scotland. Unfortunately, the funds weren’t sufficient, and we soon faced relentless pressure from these individuals demanding payment as soon as the cheque bounced. We made it clear to them that this wasn’t our problem at all and that I was prepared to involve the local constabulary, as well as lodge complaints with Ofcom and the Financial Services Authority. After that, we didn’t hear a peep out of them again, as they clearly had no grounds to stand on.

I must say, the service we received was splendid; they even accommodated us with biweekly payment options. However, we now find ourselves getting frequent calls from them searching for individuals we don’t recognise in the slightest. I’ve let them know who I am, and while it seems they’ve reduced the number of calls, we still get the odd one from time to time.

It appears that this lot are a debt collection agency known as OPOS. We've received a few calls from them. Every time we pick up, they promptly disconnect, or they excuse themselves by claiming they've dialled the wrong number. We're currently in a bit of a disagreement with one of their clients as well.

Could anyone enlighten me about who this might be?

Received a call just now referencing some case file, but they didn’t mention any company name. Quite odd, really.

Our lass has had some interactions with these folks, and I forked out for a minuscule debt of £24. Nevertheless, he continues to receive calls from them seeking someone named Gail Strong. We've already reached out to inform them that the matter has been settled, yet they persist with the annoying calls. In fact, I've counted two times in the last month alone! I'm now considering paying a visit to their offices at Ingram Home, 227 Ingram Street, Glasgow, G1 1DA, to firmly request that they put an end to this nonsense. If they don’t comply, I won’t hesitate to alert OFCOM about the situation.

Absolutely exasperating experience, I must say! A chap rang up asking for a lady, and when we told him he’d got the wrong number, he simply wouldn’t accept it. He went on about how they’ve had this number for five years, insisting we were pulling a fast one. Can you believe it? When I called back to ask for a manager, I was met with a resounding no and told I’d be waiting ages. It’s baffling how some people are allowed to behave like this. Utterly infuriating, to put it mildly!

For close to a year now, I've been receiving calls on this number from someone constantly asking for a Tina. I've had this number for almost a decade, and there’s definitely no Tina here! It seems like the calls are coming from a call centre, yet they’re quite unhelpful when it comes to sharing any information. Each time they ring, I've made it clear that they've got the wrong person, but they refuse to remove my number from their records unless I divulge some personal information. To make matters worse, I've recently started getting voicemail messages urging me to call them back.

We discovered them to be exceedingly professional, and considering we ultimately owed the cash, they've certainly made a valid argument.

I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but these folks just sent us a text message on our phone asking us to give them a ring back as well. Strange, isn’t it?

These individuals are under the oversight of the FSA and are expected to follow the guidelines set forth by the Credit Services Association (CSA) Code of Practice. It would be advisable to get in touch with the Financial Services Ombudsman for assistance.

Whenever these callers get in touch, try to play it clever and get them to spill the beans on the purpose of their call before you even think about answering any security queries. If they start flouting the Data Protection Act, don’t hesitate to let them know that they could face hefty fines if you take the matter to the ombudsman. This tactic tends to do the trick every single time!

I’ve encountered the most unprofessional debt collectors imaginable. They were utterly disdainful, actually sneering and making jokes about me, claiming it was individuals like myself who fail to read the fine print that keep them in business. It's beyond frustrating! They don’t seem remotely open to negotiating payment plans - it’s a flat-out demand for the full amount, no exceptions. Is there anyone here who can point me towards an ombudsman or some sort of authority I can approach regarding this disreputable company? I’d greatly appreciate any advice!
