Just got a call about ten minutes back, the person said they were from BT fraud team. They told me to press 1 otherwise I'd be accused of helping with fraud. The call ended up going to voicemail, the caller spoke with a strong American accent.

Got a call from what looked like a Glasgow number saying it was from BT, but it was the usual message we've all heard before. I reckon it could really scare someone if they're more vulnerable.

Got a call from some American guy saying my computer was being used for fraud, told me to press 1 to contact BT. He said I could be in serious trouble for it. Proper annoying and feel like it could be dangerous too, felt like harassment.

Just like what others have said, I got a recorded call claiming to be from BT telling me to press one. The annoying bit is, we don’t even use BT! Proper irritating.

this number kept ringing me non stop on my unlisted phone line, so i tried calling it back and it just went straight to voicemail with a message saying “sorry niall cameron isn’t available” which was a bit weird.

They said they were from BT but honestly, I’d be careful with that number 01412231525. Could be dodgy so watch out!

I got a call from this number saying they were with BT fraud and told me to press 1 or I'd get charged for helping with fraud. I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.
