Got a text from a company calling themselves Resolvecall, saying they hadn’t heard from me after some visit to my property. It went like: “Please ring 01412128475 quoting ref (r*******) ASAP.” The thing is, I never had any visit. I looked it up and others are getting similar messages from loads of different firms. The number doesn’t even show up properly - it’s hidden by something called NASHE, so you can’t trace where the text actually comes from (I’ve tried before). Just a heads up, don’t reply to these messages or call back.

Someone came to our place and left two cards through the letterbox then just walked off. I chased after him and asked what he was doing. He said he wouldn’t talk until I confirmed the address for privacy reasons. But he clearly had the right address since he’d just dropped the cards through our door. Some bloke turned up at my place telling me to call 01413128455. He wouldn’t explain what it was about, just said it was a debt collection. When I phoned the number, the woman on the other end couldn’t give me any clear details either, said it was a debt from 2001 - which made me laugh! Then she just hung up on me. The guy at the door vanished quickly when my hubby came downstairs to see who it was. Definitely a scam!
