Each day, without fail, I receive calls on my work mobile at the exact same hour. Whenever I pick up, they promptly disconnect. I’m utterly fed up with this nonsense! How on earth did they even acquire my number?

All I get is a constant ringing when I pick up the call.

I picked up the phone just the once and kept schtum, which seemed to do the trick as they fell silent as well. In the background, I could make out the murmur of voices, giving off a strong call centre vibe. My hunch is it's about PPI or some accident claims nonsense. I've since put the number on my blocked list, but I can still see a record of their continual attempts to reach me-around once or twice daily for a month, and always on weekdays. Absolutely miffed about this! Clearly some cold calling shenanigans at play.

I've logged complaints about this number a couple of times, and each instance seemed to halt the calls for a spell, lasting anywhere from two to four weeks. However, they're back at it now, albeit less persistently, with about three or four calls a week. From what I've gathered when I've answered in the past, it appears to be linked to PPI or something of that sort, but I've no clue who they actually are, and I certainly won't be engaging with them. If they can be so bothersome without me being fully aware of their intentions, I can't imagine how intrusive they'd be if I had a clearer picture of their agenda. - caller: 01412128259
