I had an odd encounter with a chap who spoke with an Asian accent claiming to represent BT. He insisted there was an issue with my internet connection, and I must admit, I felt a twinge of fright as I'm not overly savvy with tech matters. However, when he suggested he take control of my computer, alarm bells started ringing, and I realised I had to hang up immediately. Definitely a dodgy scammer if I ever saw one!

Got a call from a guy speaking with an Asian accent claiming he was from BT. He said there was an issue with my internet and offered to sort it out if I did what he said. Problem is, I don’t even use BT for my internet and everything’s working fine here. Not falling for that!
