So I got a call from 0141 1046185 claiming to be British Gas wanting to chat about my renewal. I’m already a British Gas customer but my renewal isn’t until May 2021, so I didn’t answer. Later, I rang British Gas directly and they told me they definitely weren’t using that number to call customers. Seems dodgy to me!

Got a call from one of those Indian call centres asking to talk to the boss. I just let out a burp and they immediately dropped the line.
