I got a call supposedly from BT about some issues with my internet. I told them I wasn’t a BT customer and asked for my account number. Then I got transferred to someone claiming to be a supervisor from BT Openreach, but he just brushed off my question and kept saying I shouldn’t be doubting him. When I asked if he could name my actual internet provider, he dodged the question and asked why I wanted to know. I ended up hanging up.
