Got a call from this number claiming to be BT, saying my IP address was being hijacked or something. They tried telling me to get on my laptop right away. I told them I’d ring BT myself since my broadband is actually with Virgin. Then they tried to insist it was still BT who could sort it, and warned that if I phoned BT directly, I’d be charged. I just played along for a bit but never had any intention of going along with it!
