I've had three calls from this same number now, and my mum (she's 83) is getting annoyed with them too. The guy on the phone says his name is Tom and he's chatting about loft insulation supposedly fitted through some government scheme, after they'd come round and checked the place. When he first rang, I told him I didn't have any loft insulation from the government, and he just hung up on me. The second time, I decided to humour him for a bit to see what he was about - definitely a scam. You can't ring back to check either, it just won't connect.
