Earlier today, about 45 minutes ago (09.01.17), I received a rather suspicious call from this number in connection with my ICICI Bank debit card. The caller claimed that the bank had extended some facilities and sought to confirm my personal information. I was immediately wary and pressed him for further details, only for him to disclose that he wasn't actually with ICICI Bank, but from Gurgaon, representing their debit card department. He rather unconvincingly suggested that if I had any reservations, I was free to terminate the call, which I promptly did. To my surprise, just half an hour later, the same number rang me again. I've chosen to ignore it, as I can't shake off the feeling that this whole thing might not be legitimate.
