Got a call from 014086104900, seemed like it came from California. I missed the call and a bit after, a voicemail was left. Didn’t pick up on it but checked my voicemail later. It was an automated voice repeating "Your code is ****". It felt like some kind of activation code, so I reckon it could be dodgy.

I got a call from this number right after my internet company sent me a warning about some strange stuff going on with my account, saying it happened super early in the morning. They asked me for some sort of ID code but I just didnt pick up and they hung up instead. After that, I checked and my Internet and email were still working fine.

Even though I’ve blocked the number, they keep ringing my mobile every day and dropping activation code messages on my voicemail. Thing is, I don’t even have an AOL account! It’s so annoying.

Got a call from some number listed in California while I was waiting for a verification code to reset my AOL password. I didn’t pick up and quickly looked up the number online. The timing was weird, since I was expecting the code when the call came through.

Just got a call from some dodgy lot claiming to need info linked to my AOL email. They were clearly after my passwords or something shady. Honestly, if anyone rings up asking for your email details, just hang up or tell ’em to jog on. Don’t give ’em any chance to get your info. Stay sharp out there!
