Not sure what fake name the bloke gave but it was the usual tale about “issues with your internet/router.” Sounded like an educated Indian guy with decent English. The line quality was pretty poor, probably a VoIP call from a call centre with some background noise buzzing away. I played along for about half a minute then, quite politely, told him exactly what I thought of his scam attempt.
